How to use the scanner
THE SHORT VERSION
- Three engines, one screen. Pick the market, the engine and the timeframe at the top. The chart shows the levels, the panel shows the state, the feed at the bottom tells you what to do and when.
- Every signal is a full instruction: side, entry price, stop, targets. You place it at your broker, or you don't. The scanner never trades.
- Turn alerts on. Sound and notifications inside the scanner, and on the phone add the page to your home screen. The "setting up" alert gives you a heads-up before the candle closes.
SECTION 1Getting in
Open app.kasandra-scanner.com and enter the login and password from your welcome mail. The browser keeps you logged in for a month. Forgot your password? is on the login page; a new one is mailed to the address on your account within a minute.
On the phone, open the address in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android), then use Share → Add to Home Screen. It opens like an app, full screen, and notifications work. The layout fits one hand: chart on top, panel and feed below.
One login is for one person. Use it on as many of your own devices as you like.
SECTION 2The screen
Top bar
- Market buttons: GOLD, DOW, BTC. Each market has its own engines, panel and record.
- Engine switch: ZONES, TETRIS, BTC DIP. Not every engine runs on every market; the buttons that apply are shown.
- Timeframes: 1m to 4H. Gold signals come from the 15-minute chart and are mirrored onto the other timeframes at the exact minute they happened, so you can switch charts and keep the story.
- Status pill: LIVE when ticks are flowing, QUIET when the market is open but nothing moved for a moment, NO TICKS or RECONNECTING when the feed is interrupted, MARKET CLOSED on the weekend (gold and Dow).
Chart
Candles with the engine's levels drawn on top. An open position is drawn as boxes: red from the entry to the stop, green from the entry to the next target. Tags on the right edge carry the live prices of everything that is open. Small dots mark the exact price of every entry and exit.
Panel
Below the chart. For ZONES it shows the zones and their state; TETRIS MONITOR and DIP MONITOR show what that engine is doing right now: waiting, setting up, in a trade, and the distances to the stop and the target.
Feed
The bottom strip. Every event the engine produces, newest first, with the time. This is the part to read when your phone beeps.
SECTION 3The three engines

The rules themselves stay on the server. What you see is their output, the same for every member.
SECTION 4Reading a signal
A signal appears in three places at once: as a line in the feed, as a tag on the chart, and as an instruction box on the chart with the numbered steps. For ZONES it reads like this:

- Side and entry: the order to place and the price. A limit order sits at the zone's edge; the engine counts it filled when price touches it.
- Stop: fixed at entry. Never moved against you.
- Targets: a third of the position at each. After the second target the remaining third is a runner with its stop at the entry price. It closes at the flip, the stop, or as a scratch (BE ±0) if price comes back.
- ↻ re-entry: if a runner is scratched, the engine may take the same zone again. The feed says so.
TETRIS signals say BUY or SELL at market with the stop and the first level; the panel shows the size that comes off there. BTC DIP signals say the close that fires, the target and the stop, and remind you that the exit signal can end the trade before either.
Cancelling. If the engine's setting-up condition goes away before the entry, the feed says the setup is off. If the market moves through a level without an entry, nothing happens; the engine waits for the next one.
SECTION 5The feed, line by line

SECTION 6Alerts on the phone
- In the scanner, turn on sound and notifications (the bell). The browser asks once; allow it.
- On an iPhone, notifications only work when the page was added to the home screen (iOS 16.4 or newer). Android works from Chrome directly.
- Keep the app open in the background, or reopen it now and then; a closed app cannot beep.
You get a beep and a notification for: setting up, entry, each target, stop, runner released, exit. The notification text is the feed line, so you can act without opening the app.
SECTION 7Trade book and track record
TRADES opens the book: every trade with side, prices, result and the runner's outcome. Filter by today, seven days, wins, stops, runners, open. Download as CSV gives you the same table for your own spreadsheet.
TRACK RECORD shows the recorder's log next to the scanner's own history. The recorder is a separate process that writes every event to disk the moment it happens and survives restarts; it cannot be edited after the fact. A public summary is on the track record page.
SECTION 8Market hours and feed status
- Gold and the Dow trade from Sunday evening to Friday evening (UTC), with a short daily break. On the weekend the chart is frozen, the price is blank and the banner says MARKET CLOSED. Normal.
- Bitcoin trades seven days a week; BTC DIP keeps working on the weekend.
- RECONNECTING means your device lost the live connection; it reconnects by itself within seconds. NO TICKS or FEED DOWN means the broker feed itself paused; the engines wait and continue when it returns. Nothing is skipped or invented in between.
SECTION 9What it does not do
- It does not place orders, and it has no access to your broker account.
- It does not know your balance, so it never tells you a size. Decide your own risk per trade before the signal comes, not after.
- It does not change a signal after the fact. If a level printed, it stays in the log even if it turned out badly.
- It is not investment advice. Every trade is your decision, at your broker, at your risk.
SECTION 10When something looks off

| A signal came and went in seconds | The setting-up condition can disappear if price turns. The feed shows both lines; only an actual BUY/SELL line is an entry. |
| No beep on the phone | Notifications were not allowed, or the page is not on the home screen (iPhone). See section 6. |

SECTION 11House rules
- One login per person. Sharing it, or reposting the feed, levels or alerts anywhere, ends the access.
- The engines are proprietary. Do not try to reverse-engineer them.
- Be honest with yourself about risk. The scanner shows an edge measured over years; any single week can be red.
